WARRANTYS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
- All products are covered by the manufacturer’s original warranty. Please note that the final
decision on swap outs/ repairs/ returns is made by the manufacturer and their decision is
binding on the condition of sale. Courier charges are the client’s account.
- Software/ games are strictly non-refundable once opened. In the case of a faulty installation/
keycode in use, we will refer you to the distributor helpline and the final decision lies with the
respective company.
- If the wrong items were dispatched by ACTIVE IMPORTS & EXPORTS; or if the dispatched
products were faulty and notification is made within 48 hours after delivery / collection we will
replace the product(s) free of charge and we will cover all courier charges.
- If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return the product(s) for
a full refund, ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE SEALED AND INITS ORIGINAL, UNOPENED CONDITION
The customer will be liable for the courier charges to return the product and an additional
handling fee of 20% will be charged if the order was a specialty item ordered in for the
customer.
- Please note that it is a supplier condition of sale. The acceptance of the return of any goods is
at the discretion of the supplier and this clause shall not be used to imply that the supplier
shall be obliged to accept the return of any goods.
- All products supplied carry the manufacturer’s warranty and the periods do vary between 1
month and 2 years. Note that all imported items have a 1 month warranty.
- Special warranty conditions apply to all electronic equipment. The warranty of the product(s)
will be void if the item(s) are tampered with, or if the label or serial number has been
removed. Please note that reattached labels, barcodes, or serial numbers after accidental
removal voids the warranty of the product(s).
- A component will be declared void and out of warranty if the product(s) are mishandled, if
there is any physical damage or burn marks on the product(s) or any evidence of being struck
by lightening or power surges. All conditions that constitute a void of warranty of the
product(s) will be determined by the manufacturer/ supplier of the product(s). Please note if
there is any damage to an item, it is sent back to us by our suppliers as user damaged and
the warranty is void.
- Electronic goods may be returned for testing during its warranty period. If however, the
product is found not to be faulty, or if the product was mishandled or struck by lightening,
courier charges to and from the customer, as well as a handling fee of 10% of the product(s)
will be charged to the customer.
- DVD’s, CD’s, Games, Computer software cannot be returned for a refund once they have
been opened, and will only be replaced(if defective) for the same product(s). All original
packaging and extra material, eg. Manuals must be included with the returned product(s). Any
scratched or cracked CD’s will not be taken back.
- ACTIVE IMPORTS & EXPORTS cannot be held responsible for compatibility issues with
hardware and software bought. Please ensure that the products being purchased is compatible
with your current software, hardware configuration. If the product(s) purchased is not
compatible with your current software, hardware configuration the product(s) may be
returned only if the product(s) is unopened and still in its original packaging. The customer will
be responsible for all the courier charges, as well as a handling fee of 10% of the product(s)
value.
